NORTHROP, Chief Judge.

On July 1, 1971, plaintiff requested this court to issue a temporary restraining order enjoining defendants from removing plaintiff from his present position with the Postal Service. On the same date, this court entered an order restraining plaintiff's removal and requiring defendants to show cause on or before July 7, 1971 why they should not be permanently enjoined from removing plaintiff from his employment.
