On April 29, 1964, plaintiff Leong was a passenger on a bus owned by defendant H.R.T. and operated by defendant Higa. The bus was traveling diamond head on Ala Moana Boulevard and turned left into Ala Moana Center after stopping at a stop sign located on the medial strip.
