This is an action to recover damages to plaintiff's truck. Defendants appeal from a judgment on a verdict in favor of plaintiff.

Defendant Alford Logging Co., was a logging contractor. Defendant Perry Jones was hired by Alford to fall and buck the timber on timberlands owned by the federal government and plaintiff Carigan was hired to haul the logs from the property.
