CHASEZ, Judge.

In November of 1965 Mr. Paul G. Charbonnet, Jr., (Charbonnet) plaintiff-appellee, a licensed architect and contractor, entered into a verbal contract on a cost, plus percentage of cost, or "cost-plus" basis with Dr. and Mrs. Alton Ochsner, Jr. (Ochsner) defendant-appellant, to repair hurricane damage to the Ochsner home. This work, referred to as Phase I, was apparently done to the satisfaction of the Ochsners and Charbonnet was paid $16,742.63.
