This eminent domain proceeding was instituted by the United States of America, upon relation and for the use of the Tennessee Valley Authority (TVA) to acquire an easement and right-of-way over three tracts of land situated in Lafayette County, Mississippi. The authority for the taking is the Tennessee Valley Authority Act of 1933, 48 Stat. 58, as amended, 16 U.S.C.A. § 831-831dd, and the interest to be acquired...
