Defendant Filippatos was charged with four counts of interstate transportation of a forged security in violation of 18 U.S.C. § 2314. On October 21, 1969 a jury returned a verdict of guilty on all four counts. I now consider the renewed motion of defense counsel for a judgment of acquittal and dismissal of the indictment on the grounds that the evidence presented to the grand jury which returned the indictment was entirely...
