Defendant was convicted of unlawful possession of a narcotic drug (heroin) in violation of N.J.S.A. 24:18-4. The Appellate Division affirmed, 106 N.J.Super. 1 (1968), and we granted defendant's petition for certification. 51 N.J. 390 (1968).
