This is an action for the conversion of a diamond ring instituted in the Court of Common Pleas No. 6 of Philadelphia County. The crux of the case is the total disparity in the testimony of Herman Lawner, vendee (Lawner),1 and Charles Engelbach, vendor (Engelbach), as to the terms of the sale involving the diamond ring.
