At 1:30 P.M. on September 11, 1964, a Friday, Anthony Williams was fatally wounded by a shotgun blast in the chest. Mr. Williams, an employee of the A. R. P. Excavating Company, was standing just outside the doorway of the company's field office trailer when the fatal shot was fired.
