Finger Contract Supply Company sued John T. Webb upon his written guaranty that the obligations of a promissory note and the first lien chattel mortgage securing the note would be observed. The trial court rendered judgment for the defendant, Webb, because Finger, without the knowledge or consent of Webb, agreed to subordinate its first lien mortgage to the lien of another creditor.
