HARRISON, Justice.

On October 20, 1961, Villie V. Cousins was injured in a motor vehicle collision in Norfolk, Virginia, involving an automobile owned and operated by Deloris Fennell Murphy. Thereafter Mrs. Cousins recovered of Mrs. Murphy a judgment for her damages in the amount of $3,000.00 plus interest and costs. Execution was issued on the judgment and returned unsatisfied.

At the time of the accident, there was in effect an automobile liability insurance...
