McFARLAND, Chief Justice:
Plaintiff-appellant, Donald L. Puente, hereinafter referred to as plaintiff, sued Don D. Lee and sixteen others, hereinafter referred to as defendants, for a real-estate commission due under an oral contract of employment to sell 8 1/2 acres of land owned by defendants. The trial court, sitting without a jury, found for defendants, and plaintiff appealed.
