Plaintiffs are Negro students enrolled in the Halifax County school system. In May of 1965 plaintiffs, for themselves, and in behalf of those similarly situated instituted this class action against the School Board of Halifax County and the other named defendants. Alleging that the School Board continues to operate a bi-racial school system with separate facilities to accommodate the students of each race, and separately staffed...
