The question here is whether certain oil and gas instruments reserved to the grantor the mineral estate to a depth of 4704 feet. The trial court entered a summary judgment that such estate was not reserved. The Court of Civil Appeals reversed that judgment and remanded the cause for a trial on the ground that the various instruments in question were ambiguous and hence parol evidence was admissible to ascertain the intentions of the parties.
