This action is a guest-passenger case brought to recover damages for injuries as a result of the alleged gross negligence of the defendant. Defendant moved for a directed verdict at the conclusion of plaintiff's evidence. When this motion was overruled, defendant rested without putting on any evidence, and renewed his motion for directed verdict.
