Chryson Tsouvalos and her husband, James, an elderly Greek couple (65 and 73 years of age respectively when the accident occurred), were struck by an automobile owned and operated by appellant Straughan on January 16, 1963 as they were walking across Eastern Avenue near its intersection with Oldham Street in Baltimore City.
