DAWSON, Judge:

Respondent determined a deficiency in the income tax of petitioner for the year 1960 in the amount of $9,301.63. The deficiency was computed upon adjusted taxable income of $30,891 determined by respondent, in a statement attached to the deficiency notice, as follows:
