This law suit developed out of a stipulation dated March 25, 1963 which attempted to settle a landlord-tenant dispute. One provision required the receiver to pay $3000 cash to plaintiff-tenants, following the execution of the agreement, even though they were to pay the receiver $29,500 by the 15th of April, 1963. The $3000 was paid to plaintiffs and as they did not pay the $29,500 when due, judgment was entered against them and in favor of defendant...
