The plaintiff, Texas Eastern Transmission Corporation, sues Bowie Lumber Company, Ltd., in this expropriation proceeding to acquire a right of way or servitude across a tract of land owned by defendant in Lafourche Parish for the construction, operation and maintenance of a 36-inch gas pipe line.
