The petitioner, Sam Jackson, invoked the original jurisdiction of this Court by filing herein his petition for a writ of habeas corpus, wherein he seeks release from the custody of the respondent. The writ was issued, returnable February 16, 1965, and this Court appointed counsel to represent the petitioner in this proceeding.
