Appellant Edell was adjudicated a bankrupt in the Southern District of Florida on November 25, 1953 after having filed a petition for an arrangement under Chapter XII on the Bankruptcy Act on April 23, 1952. The appellees are his New York creditors whose claims were paid on January 23, 1956 in a New York state court receivership proceeding involving real property of appellant located in that state.
