Defendant was indicted for violation of Section 501(c) and Section 209(c) of the Labor-Management Reporting and Disclosure Act (29 U.S.C. §§ 501(c) and 439(c)), in that as an employee of Local 1282, Pool Arrangement, International Hod Carriers, Building and Common Laborers' Union of America, AFL-CIO, (hereafter referred to as "The Pool Arrangement") he had embezzled from that body the sum of $1,919.55, and had willfully and knowingly...
