This matter is before the court upon an appeal by the executors of the above captioned estate from the appraisement of the Commonwealth of transfer inheritance tax.
Decedent, who died on October 25, 1961, was the surviving spouse of Everett H. Plummer. He had died on July 12, 1955, and in paragraph THIRD of his will had created a $50,000 trust fund for the benefit of his wife. She received the entire net income thereof for life...
