This is a statutory action to determine adverse claims brought by the plaintiff school board to evict the defendants from school property and recover damages both for the use of the property and for waste. In their answer to plaintiff's complaint the defendants alleged that their occupancy of plaintiff's property was pursuant to contract and counterclaimed for wages they alleged were due under employment contracts.
