POWERS, Justice.

This is a criminal indictment charging the defendant with armed robbery. It was tried to a superior court justice sitting with a jury and resulted in the defendant's conviction. The case is before us on his bill of exceptions, but he presses only his exception to a certain evidentiary ruling and to the denial of his motion for a new trial. His other exceptions are expressly waived.
