These two actions of trespass on the case were brought by the plaintiffs against the city of Cranston for injuries suffered by them by the collapse of a wall of a school building being erected on land owned by the city. The cases were heard together before a justice of the superior court on the defendant's demurrer in each case to the plaintiff's second amended declaration.
