Mr. JUSTICE HERSHEY delivered the opinion of the court:

Plaintiffs brought suit in the circuit court of Cook County to restrain the village of Glenview from enforcing the "A-3, 1/5 Acre Residence District" zoning classification of lots 4, 5, 6 and 7 in block 1 of George F. Nixon Company's North Shore Preserve Subdivision in such village.

Lots 4, 5, 6 and 7 are unimproved real estate located on the south side of an east and west street...
