Plaintiffs filed a petition for mandamus in the Circuit Court of Sangamon County to compel their reinstatement to their positions with the Department of Agriculture, of Foods, Dairies and Standards Inspectors II. A motion to strike the complaint and dismiss the action was filed by the Attorney General on behalf of the defendants. This motion was sustained by the trial court, and no application for leave to file an amended petition having been made...
