This case came to this Court on appeal from the Circuit Court of the Second Judicial District of Bolivar County, Mississippi, where the defendant, Willie Matthews, had been indicted for the murder of J.L. Ramsey and was tried and convicted of manslaughter and sentenced to serve a term of two years in the state penitentiary.
