Plaintiff instituted suit against John E. Welles and Ponchatoula Beach Development Corporation for specific performance of a contract to purchase certain land located in the Parish of Tangipahoa. In his petition he alleged that the agreement for the sale of the property was contained in a written instrument dated July 11, 1958 which, by reference, was made part of the petition and on the trial of the case a copy of the contract was offered in evidence...
