Relying on the so-called "civil damage act" (CL 1948, § 436.22, as amended by PA 1958, No 152 [Stat Ann 1959 Cum Supp § 18.993])*, plaintiff Ida Fletcher, widow, sued the defendant licensees for having caused the unlawful intoxication and subsequent death of her husband, Carl Fletcher.
