These cases were instituted by the plaintiffs to recover on the basis of injuries sustained by Mrs. Sondra Iwrey in an automobile accident. West McNichols road in the city of Detroit runs in an east and west direction. Said thoroughfare has 2 lanes for traffic and 1 parking lane on each side of the center line. It intersects Glastonbury, which is a stop street.
