Plaintiff was the owner of the yacht "Renay" which sank on the morning of July 7, 1958 while berthed in its regular place at the docks of defendant Seabrook Shipyard, Inc. Prior to the sinking of the "Renay," plaintiff had purchased from the defendant Liberty Mutual Insurance Company a policy of insurance, which was in effect at the time of said sinking.
