The defendant, Gerald A. Mahle, appeals from his conviction on two counts of an indictment charging him with burglarizing the Sears, Roebuck Store at Mt. View, Alaska, on or about March 3, 1960, and stealing the store's safe and its contents of currency and checks. Jointly indicted with Mahle was one George C. Groff who, at the time of Mahle's trial, had already plead guilty to the offenses charged and had been placed on probation under a sentence...
