While riding as a passenger in one of the front seats of a Greyhound bus Mrs. Gilla Adkins was struck and injured by a rock thrown through the windshield of the bus by the back wheel or wheels of a concrete-mixer truck traveling in the opposite direction. She brought this suit for personal injuries against the drivers of both vehicles and their respective employers.
