The plaintiff, Marvin Slechta, was employed by Bartlett & Company, Grain, hereinafter referred to as Bartlett, at its Sioux City, Iowa, grain elevators. Slechta suffered personal injuries during the course of his employment when he was thrown from a moving boxcar onto the ground.
