This is a mandamus suit in which the school teacher, Taylor, seeks to have the County School Board pay him the difference in salary which the position paid that he held prior to being demoted to a lesser salary. The Chancellor heard the matter on the pleadings and oral proof and rendered a decree in favor of the petitioner for $1,014.15.
