This action which seeks to recover an alleged balance of damages for fire loss is predicated upon plaintiff's claim that, solely due to the negligence of the defendant, an insurance broker, in procuring fire policies and failing to properly describe plaintiff's building, the insurance companies resisted payment, necessitating the bringing of lawsuits against them for collection and ultimate settlement with them for less than the losses...
