On July 27, 1957, plaintiffs purchased from defendant Gerrit Vander Hooning the capital stock of Van's Howard Johnson, Inc. It is their claim that they were induced to make such purchase because of false and fraudulent representations, made by the individual defendants, concerning said corporation and its business. It appears that in 1955 Gerrit Vander Hooning was the sole stockholder of Van's Food Department Stores...
