These two cases arose out of an automobile accident which occurred near Brainerd, Minnesota, on October 18, 1958. Harriet Marlowe was the driver of a car owned by her husband, Thomas Marlowe. Defendant, Sheridan J. Gunderson, was the owner and driver of the other car.
