This action came on for trial before me, sitting by designation in admiralty, on July 14, 1960. It was brought to recover damages on account of injuries suffered by Dock Green, a longshoreman, on July 26, 1956. It is not disputed that Green was injured on that date, when he jumped, or fell, from the masthouse to the main deck of the S/S Kingsville, a distance of 8 or 9 feet.
