This appeal is from the verdict and sentence of a three-judge court finding Warnie Blanton guilty of manslaughter in the first degree. Warnie Blanton was indicted for second degree murder by the January 1959 grand jury of Lawrence County, Ohio. He was charged with unlawfully, purposely and maliciously killing William Kenneth Hall on the 8th of December 1958. To the indictment, the defendant entered a plea of not guilty, waived a jury and requested trial...
