The Naturalization Examiner, after consideration of Rego's case, came to the conclusion that having sought exemption from military service under the Selective Service Act of 1948, as amended in 1951, 50 U.S.C.A. Appendix, § 454(a)1, petitioner was barred permanently from citizenship. The Regional Commissioner came to the opposite conclusion...
