The plaintiff Martha Haarmeyer, in case No. 8830, brought this action in the Common Pleas Court of Hamilton County, Ohio, to recover damages for her injuries claimed to have been the proximate result of the appellees' negligence in maintaining an unsafe stairway in the apartment building owned by appellees in Cincinnati, Ohio, in which the plaintiff and her husband were tenants on December 22, 1954.
