Mann (Mann), owned by the respondent (Patapsco) and moored at its pier No. 3 in Baltimore harbor, broke loose from its moorings, drifted across the Patapsco River and collided with the pier of the Maryland Shipbuilding & Drydock Company (Maryland) causing damages in the agreed amount of $86,000.
