This is an action of trespass on the case for negligence to recover damages for injuries sustained when the plaintiff fell down certain steps of a tenement house owned by the defendant at 83 Althea street in the city of Providence. Trial was held before a justice of the superior court sitting with a jury and resulted in a directed verdict for the defendant. The case is before us on the plaintiff's bill of exceptions to the granting of the defendant...
