Plaintiff sued to recover the sum of $37,222 paid by the defendant to one Anlyan, on or about October 17, 1951, pursuant to cable instructions from the Bank of Italy at Milan, Italy, to the defendant. Plaintiff claims the money should have been paid to it, instead of to Anlyan. In substance, the background of the negotiations was as follows...
