This is an appeal by El Harden Mathews from an order of the District Court of Ottawa County discharging a writ of habeas corpus and denying relief sought thereunder. The writ was issued March 27, 1957 and directed to James V. Grant on petition of El Harden Mathews, who alleged that he is the father of Louise Mathews, aged five, and Jimmy Mathews, aged four, and as their father is entitled to their custody...
