The main question presented on this appeal is whether, under our statute requiring personal property to be assessed to the owner, an assessment of sundry articles of kitchen equipment were properly assessed to a purchaser in possession under a conditional sales contract retaining title in the vendor. The district court answered this question in the affirmative and our conclusion is that it was correct in so doing. The question is one of first impression...
