The jury found substantially that (1) in the year 1934 the representatives of the Underwriters at Lloyds America did not make demand upon Darwin for the payment of the $1,500 note; (2) in the year 1938 the representatives of Underwriters at Lloyds America did not make demand upon Darwin for the payment of the $1,500 note.
